On May 1, 2005, five of our Sisters set out from Our Lady of the Angels Monastery,here in Hanceville, Alabama, to begin our first American PCPA Monastery"West of the Mississippi."At present the Sisters are praying and working towards building a monastery in the heart of the desert to bring spiritual refreshment to the Diocese of Phoenix, by their hidden life of Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Mother Delores Marie and Sr. Imelda Marie are spiritual daughters of Mother Angelica. Together they spent their formative years under the guidance of Mother Angelica at Our Lady of the Angels Monastery in Alabama. Through the promptings of the Holy Spirit, the Sisters felt called to assist our struggling Portsmouth Monastery. What began as a temporary stay turned into a permanent transfer. The Lord has blessed their generosity, for shortly after there, vocations began to arrive. It is their prayer and our prayer as well that this Monastery will begin to flourish with many good, strong, and holy vocations.
